It is with deep sadness that the Port Adelaide Soccer Club have to inform our Members, Supporters and the wider football community of the passing of Club Legend, SA Football Icon, Loving Family Man and absolute Gentleman Colin Alagich Snr. Colin passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon surrounded by his adoring family.
One of only 3 players to play over 300 Senior Games for the club, the 4 time Best & Fairest winner, Coach, Secretary and Life Member will be remembered as one of the true greats of our great football club.
Our deepest condolences go out to the whole of the Alagich family, the extended families and all those who were lucky enough to call Mr Colin Alagich a friend. Today is a sad day for our football club and South Australian football in general for when one of us hurts we all feel it.
