JUNIORS ROUND 9 REVIEWS

Our U12 and U13 teams finished the first half of their seasons with trips to the Croatian Sports Centre while our U14s trekked all the way to Port Pirie to face the Demons. Our U15s and U15 Girls were also on the road while the U16s welcome the league leaders Eastern United to Taperoo Reserve. Click here to read all about it!

MINIROOS ROUND 8 REVIEWS

With the U6s taking the weekend off, there was a chance for 4 of our littlest stars to show what they could do in the U7s. There was another U8 derby, a Raiders double header in the U9s and U10s and a whole lot more. Click here to read all about it!

FIXTURES UPDATE

The fixtures for the 2^nd half of the season for both the U12s and U13s have been announced and are now available, as have the new fixtures for U10 White, who have moved to a different league. A reminder you can download the fixtures PDFs from the Registration page of our website (updated weekly) or you can of course check via the Football SA website or the Game Day app.

SUNDAY CANTEEN

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered in the canteen on Sunday, 16^th August. We are now on the home stretch with just 6 weeks remaining of the season.

The teams rostered on for Sunday, 23^rd August are U15 Girls (8-10am AND 1pm-Close), U7 Black (10am 12pm) and U10 White (12-1pm). A big thank you ahead of time to the U15 Girls volunteers who have covered the second half of U10 White’s shift due to the rescheduling of the U10 White game. Fantastic club spirit!

Now that the final U12 and U13 fixtures have been announced, we are now able to confirm the Sunday canteen roster for the rest of the season (See image below).

We can confirm that the Juniors photos have been brought forward to this coming WEDNESDAY, 26^th AUGUST. The specific times are:

5.15pm - U12

5.30pm - U13

5.45pm - U15 Girls

6.00pm - U16

6.15pm - U15

6.30pm - U14

MINIROOS TEAM PHOTOS

We can now confirm that MiniRoos team photos will be held on the evening of MONDAY, 14^th September. Specific timeslots will be advertised in due course.

SENIORS UPDATE

A disappointing day out last weekend saw the first team suffer a 2-0 loss to The Cove FC away from home. The lads get the chance to respond tomorrow at Taperoo Reserve against an Adelaide University side that have been improving since their previous meeting when Pirates ran out comfortable 4-1 winners. Our Reserves registered a much need victory with a 3-1 win while the U18s went down 2-1. In the Collegiate league, Pirates also suffered a narrow loss, a 1-0 reversal to promotion rivals St Pauls.

As alluded to, our Seniors are back at Taperoo Reserve tomorrow after 3 successive away fixtures, we hope to see you down there in support. You can find further information on our website.

UPCOMING GAMES – SUNDAY 23^rd AUGUST

Here is the full list of the upcoming games. The round kicks off on Friday night with the 3^rd U8 derby in as many weeks as well as a special one-off U6 derby between U6 ‘Silver and ‘Gold’. The U15s kick off the Taperoo Reserve action on Sunday with an 8:45 am game vs Cumberland United, while U10 White finish off the day with a special 1pm kick-off vs Salisbury United Red.
