Returning to training announcement

Published Sat 09 May 2020

To all our members, we wish to thank you for your continued patience, understanding and support during these uncertain times, and we hope you and your families are all safe and well.

On Friday 8th May 2020, the State Government announced the easing of restrictions regarding the return to sport from May 11th and finally we have some light at the end of the tunnel.

Following this welcome announcement, our governing body Football South Australia released a statement along with a set of guidelines and directions to assist clubs to plan for our safe return to training.

Our club committee will be meeting early next week to discuss and formulate a plan for all our Pirates teams to return to the training track in the safest possible way that both complies with all necessary regulations, and engages all our players in meaningful training to prepare for our imminent return to competition in the near future.

We ask you as Players, Coaches, Parents and Supporters to take the time to read the documentation (links provided below), so we can all move forward together towards being able to do what we all love doing....playing football ⚽️

Stay tuned as we will be in touch next week with our return to training plan and date, and we can't to see you all back out on the track soon.
