Pirates Rewarded at Celebration of Football

The incredible season that was 2021 was capped off at the recent Football SA Celebration of Football awards night with James Skeffington and Alex Tate both taking out individual awards.

Our Club Captain James Skeffington again showed why he is regarded as one of the true greats not only of our club but also of the game itself by adding another Player of the Year title to his remarkable list of achievements.

Congratulations also have to go to the excitement machine and fan favourite Augustus Williams for his top five finish in the State League Two Player of the Year count.

Cult figure and all round top bloke Alex Tate again showed why he is thought of as one of the best glovemen in the game by winning the State League Two Goalkeeper of the Year award to go with his unofficial title of Mullet of the Year.
